DR Peer Support

Peer support between designated representatives (DRs) at food co-ops is a foundational part of NCG membership. Peer networks are groupings of similarly sized operations within three regional corridors (Central, East, West) where DRs can share ideas, make recommendations, ask questions of peers.

In addition to grouping co-ops according to size within region, peer networks are grouped to be relatively even in size by co-op count. Each peer network is supported by a co-op resource manager who serves as the co-op’s primary point of contact to NCG. Co-op resource managers organize a variety of online and in person events to help foster supportive relationships between DRs.
