Meat Descriptive Designation Labeling

This page contains two USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service labeling requirements related to the descriptive designation on meat products. The first is for raw meat and poultry products containing added solutions, and is effective January 2016. The second is for mechanically tenderized beef, effective May 2016.
