NCG Discussion Forums

NCG Discussion Forums are private, secure spaces for you to engage with your peers at other co-ops, post and respond to questions, and upload related files to share. Most users report it’s easy to use and the forum is full of useful features — you can like posts, win badges, or even subscribe to get a daily or weekly digest in your inbox of all the activity that’s taken place in the forum. Although the forum is moderated by NCG staff, it’s intended to be a space for co-op managers to ask questions and share ideas with each other.

Here are the forums and the contact types that can access each:

• Designated Rep contact type gets access to the DR Forum
• Finance Manager contact type gets access to the Finance Forum
• Front End/Customer Service contact type gets access to the Front End Forum
• Grocery contact type gets access to the Grocery Forum
• HR contact type gets access to the HR Forum
• IT contact type gets access to the Technology Forum
• Marketing and Member Services contact types get access to the Marketing Forum
• Meat and Seafood contact type gets access to the Meat & Seafood Forum
• POS contact type gets access to the POS Forum
• Prepared Foods contact type gets access to the Prepared Foods Forum
• Produce contact type gets access to the Produce Forum
• Store/Operations Manager contact type gets access to the Operations Forum
• Wellness contact type gets access to the Wellness forum

Please note that access to the forum is limited to individuals with the associated contact type in their NCG.coop user profiles. Your co-op’s designated representative (usually the General Manager at the co-op) can modify contact types for staff at your co-op with the User Add/Update form on NCG.coop.

How to Join the Conversation

Accessing a forum for the first time:

• Navigate to the forum site: https://forum.ncg.coop/login
• Click the button to log in
• Request a password reset, using the same co-op email address as your account in ncg.coop
• You’ll receive an email with login information

Once logged in, we encourage all users to review their profile in the forum, update their user name, add a picture, and any other information they want to share. You can also configure the notifications you wish to get about new content added to the forum and determine the frequency of such notifications in your user settings.
