Arctic Wolf Social Engineering Awareness Campaign Resources
Preventing data breaches requires both adequate security as well as awareness among employees about how to spot and avoid social engineering. Social engineers seek to use familiarity with a business to manipulate staff to take harmful actions.
For one year beginning in October 2025, NCG will pay to give two individuals from each NCG member co-op access to a social engineering awareness campaign from Arctic Wolf, a well-regarded cyber security firm.
NCG staff participate in this campaign and appreciate the brevity of the videos that give detailed descriptions of social engineering strategies in a bite-sized format.
Benefits
- Weekly emails delivered to your inbox linking you to bite-sized videos about social engineering campaigns and strategies
- Relevant content: Arctic Wolf monitors social engineering attempts worldwide and communicates concepts in simple, easy-to-understand language
- Brief, periodic assessments to demonstrate fluency in social engineering concepts
Costs
DRs and one additional employee per co-op will have access to the campaign for one year at no cost.
Participation Requirements
This program is open to all NCG member co-ops.
How to Enroll
Co-op DRs will automatically be enrolled in the program unless they opt out. We recommend the second license be assigned to a finance manager, assistant GM, or someone who can help communicate social engineering concepts to staff and help build organizational awareness. There are a limited number of additional licenses available to employees from multi-store co-ops on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact coopsupport@ncg.coop to opt out, to designate another employee to gain access and to request a third license for your co-op.
