Co+op Basics Rebates
Rebates for Co+op Basics EDLPs are discounts negotiated directly with a manufacturer that are not reflected on distributor invoices. Rebates are paid directly to co-ops by NCG monthly based on their invoiced purchases through the distributor during the EDLP buy-in period listed on the Co+op Basics Price File posted in LBMX. Unlike a distributor processed OI or MCB promotional % discounts, rebate discounts are reflected on the monthly Co+op Basics Price File as a dollar amount per unit. This per unit rebate is subtracted from the regular case cost after any distributor discounts are subtracted, and reflected in the sale unit cost on the Co+op Basics Price File. Co+op Basics EDLPs with a rebate discount applied may have the full discount reflected as a rebate or the rebate may be combined with a distributor OI or MCB discount.
