Program Overview
NCG has the capacity to provide short-term, cash-flow financing to member co-ops through its Co-op Assistance Fund. The fund was initiated with a seed investment by NCG and is replenished as members repay loans and with further investment.
Loans from the Co-op Assistance Fund are underwritten and issued by the NCG Development Co+op (NCG DC). NCG provides the funds for these loans through a loan to NCG DC. The NCG DC’s funding policies and procedures govern the underwriting and servicing of Co-op Assistance Fund loans.
