Program Overview
NCG offers individual co-op assistance and support, including project planning, business tools and resources, training and for-fee, on-site support for resets, remodels, expansions and new store openings in center store (grocery, refrigerated, frozen, bulk, and wellness), meat and seafood, prepared foods and produce. Projects are accepted as capacity permits.
Retail Specialists
Provide technical expertise and onsite support in key retailing departments: grocery and wellness, meat and seafood, prepared foods and produce. They can provide coaching and development to department managers, provide training, conduct assessments, assist in department resets and refreshes, and offer guidance on menu and product offerings.
Programming Managers
Provide strategic guidance and direction in key retailing categories: grocery and wellness, meat/seafood/food safety, prepared foods and produce. They provide co-ops with consulting and support to help with department design, equipment selection, retail programming and strategy. They can also advise co-ops hiring managers for these critical departments by reviewing applications and hiring materials or providing strategic guidance.
